WHY: Because surfers really only care about two things; waves and the equipment to ride them with.
HOW: $10 at the door ; kids under 12 free includes SURFER Magazine subscription and door prizes including surfboards…



Topanga Beach Experience



In celebration of the publication of Topanga Beach Experience: 1960s-1970s, Beyond Baroque book store in Venice will be screening some vintage surf films this Saturday from 2-4pm. Among the films featured are The Californians, The Living Curl, and Cosmic Children. Looks to be a cool event.


5th Annual Beach Shorts Film Fest


The 5th Annual Beach Shorts Film Fest was a good time. Great crowd, great vibe, great films, and a whole lotta stoke goin’ on. A big thanks goes out to Barry Hatchett who tirelessly works to put on this event.

New from the R and D lab at Campus Point comes the El Cadjeo model. Inspired and designed with team rider Nick and shaper/surfer Ben. This board was designed and built for the inside section at Campus point, malibu, rincon and any other point break you frequent. Don’t turn your back on this board, it may be the last thing you ever ride!
